BIOGRAPHY

Scott Cain was originally chosen by a telephone ballot of Australian television viewers to be the first solo Popstar on the local series of 'Popstars 3' airing on Network Seven in 2002.

Scott's debut single 'Im Moving On' debuted at the top of the ARIA singles charts and went twice-platinum (over 100,000 units). In September 2002, Scott released his debut album which debuted in the ARIA Top 40 Albums chart.

In 2004, Scott was hand picked by the Disney Channel to host the 'AMTV on D' breakfast show. The show became the most watched kids television show on the pay TV network and second to ABC Kids on free to air TV. Scott was also awarded an ASTRA (Australian Subscription Television and Radio Awards) Award for 'Favourite New Subscription Television Presenter' which was voted by the Australian public.

Scott's rise to fame with Kids through the Disney Channel allowed him to sign a recording contract with ABC Kids Music which saw Scott release his second album in 2004 titled 'Roller Coaster' independently which also featured the hit single 'Ive Got A Crush On Hilary Duff' which was added to over 72 radio stations nationally.

Scott also had the opportunity to tour with Hilary Duff during her October 2004 Australian tour performing in front of 30,000 fans as Hilarys only support act at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
